“Bitcoin Piyasası Büyük Yatırımcıların Satışlarıyla Yeni Bir Döneme Adım Atıyor”

Investing.com – The market is facing a new dynamic where large investors are selling off and U.S.-based institutions are increasing their reserves. Analysis from Glassnode reveals that the market has entered a distribution phase as major investors begin selling their BTC holdings. Data from CryptoQuant shows that the U.S. is reinforcing its leading position in Bitcoin reserves. These developments signal a significant change in the Bitcoin market.

Glassnode: Whales Start Selling BTC

According to Glassnode’s report, large whales have entered a new selling phase in the Bitcoin market. The sales of ultra-large investors holding over 10,000 BTC have been ongoing since September, while holders with 1,000-10,000 BTC portfolios have also accelerated their sales in the past two weeks. Glassnode’s accumulation trend score has dropped to 0.21, indicating that major players are now distributing rather than accumulating BTC.

These selling movements are increasing the supply of Bitcoin, putting downward pressure on prices. The sales by large investors are bringing an end to the accumulation period that lasted between October and December, with analysts predicting that Bitcoin prices could fall as low as $91,000.

The U.S. Market Increases Bitcoin Reserves

According to data released by CryptoQuant’s CEO, Ki Young Ju, U.S.-based institutions have risen to a leading position, holding 65% of global Bitcoin reserves. The ratio of Bitcoin reserves held in the U.S. versus outside the U.S. increased from 1.24 in September 2024 to 1.65 by January 2025. This growth has occurred as U.S.-based miners, institutional companies, exchanges, and ETFs have increased their Bitcoin accumulation.

With the supportive policies towards cryptocurrencies by Donald Trump, Bitcoin accumulation in the U.S. has accelerated. During the period when BTC prices reached $108,135, major fund managers like BlackRock and Fidelity played a significant role in shaping the market through their investments.

Changes and Risks in Market Dynamics

Data from Glassnode and CryptoQuant indicates that a significant change is occurring in the Bitcoin market. The sales by large whales are exerting pressure on Bitcoin’s price, while the increasing reserves in the U.S. are altering the power dynamics within the market. Countries like Russia and Poland are beginning discussions to increase their own reserves, and this new phase is expected to have profound effects on global cryptocurrency markets.

These developments illustrate that the Bitcoin market is not merely about price movements but that strategic maneuvers by major players and global policies significantly impact the market.
